Thank you so very much. I will be celebrating the R-word's 1 year birthday in all the ways that you listed. Here is my poem (actually a haiku, so read twice)
There are many ways to revolt, to take back your self sovereignty from the hierarchical dominator systems thar are "trauma factories" to quote Riane Eisler. Poetry is our secret weapon in such an overturning ..
James, I like you Revolution ideas. Some years ago, inspired by the Wall St Occupiers, I created a Revolution fridge magnet, passed out several hundred, giving to friends and attaching to metal surfaces in public places. I don't see a way to include an image here, so I'll just describe it.
Text is by Rebecca Solnit: "The economy of love is – the more you have the more I have. If I can make you feel happy or hopeful or beautiful I might feel more that way myself. . . . If I want a society that works, then I need you to be powerful, I need you to be responsible, I need you to be fully engaged, and maybe I need you to be joyous. The more I an give youo the better my society is, beause we are actually in this together." And below that in big type in a red box, the word REVOLUTION! in black except the EVOL part is in red, mirror-imaged backward. Want to see it? Let me hear.
But also, here's another perspective I think worth considering:
“It is my opinion that the situation is hopeless, that the human race has produced an ecological tip over point… but assuming there is a possibility of changing the society’s “course in the darkness deathward set,” it can only be done by infection, infiltration, diffusion and imperceptibility, microscopically throughout the social organism, like the invisible pellets of a disease called Health.” -Kenneth Rexroth, “Radical Movements on the Defensive,” San Francisco Magazine, July 1969.
Today I posted a response to a comment which may be of interest, as it explains more some more of my views on why revolution is required and what sort of a revolution is required.

Lovely, thanks! And, yes, I'd like to receive the image of the fridge magnet! My email address is in the text of the article.

The whales are attacking boats and killing humans. People are shocked and appalled.
Whales (among other non human species) are intelligent: I say they may be doing the
R-thing.
